Network Security
Jobs
Businesses need the internet more and more,
to reach a wider variety of customers. But the internet can be
hacked, broken into by people who want to do damage or steal
things, from identity crime to money to
information.
The internet has several loopholes which
need to be plugged, and this is an ongoing concern since
hackers are always inventing new skills and tools to hack; as
soon as one method is developed by hackers and then thwarted by
security firms, the hackers invent something new that must be
tackled. This situation has created a huge demand for Network
security jobs.
Network security jobs all have one basic
task: to protect the network from people trying to break
in. People hack into a computer or website electronically, so
network security jobs revolve around inventing both software
and hardware that intervene when anyone tries to hack into a
private, secure area.
An interesting
switch is that hackers can turn into network security
professionals! With the smarts they learn from their
hacking hobby, they learn enough about network
security, and how to break it, that their knowledge
becomes valuable to network security firms and, if
they have not committed too much crime, with proper
training they can reverse their skills and their
knowledge can be of great help in tightening network
security.
